What Our Patients Have To Say...
I first attended Sean O’Meara at Excel Physiotherapy in 2010 and I am still one of his clients today. I initially went to Sean with a leg injury, however while chatting one day during a session I mentioned I suffered from migraines. It wasn’t long before Sean had pinpointed the exact spot on my shoulder / neck which was causing the pain in my head. Over a number of sessions following this Sean carried out deep tissue massage and dry needling. These, along with a variety of home stretches which Sean recommended, greatly eased my pain and the frequency of my migraine attacks. I continue to attend Sean for deep tissue massage/dry needling once/twice a year as a preventative measure as well as for any other injury if the need arises. Sean is very professional, extremely knowledgeable and the service and advice he provides is excellent. I have recommended Sean and his team to many friends and I continue to highly recommend Excel Physiotherapy to anyone.
Excel physiotherapy is and always will be my first port of call at first sight of any injury or pains, Sean O’Meara is the best Physio I’ve ever dealt with and will always diagnose any issues I have on the first appointment. I would highly recommend Sean and his team to any of my friends and family. Thanks for all the help to date and although I hope I don’t have to see you too much I look forward to dealing with you in the future.

Trying to keep a level of fitness through weekly 10k runs, takes it toil on your body, especially when the body is that of a middle-aged man. To overcome the niggles and injuries I pick up along the way, I always make it a priority to visit Sean to resolve my muscle complaints. Whatever if its deep tissue massage through needles or traditional methods, the treatment along with the sound advice on body mechanics, advising what to stretch or what needs strengthening always improves my wellbeing. Sean services not only address your immediate issues but also advises on best methods to prevent reoccurrence. This is all done through clear communication and professional service delivered with a friendly manner.
Since suffering a life changing accident in 2012 I have required extensive physiotherapy. Initially from the National rehabilitation hospital in Dublin and when I returned home, I was looking for somewhere to continue with my recovery. After trying different physiotherapy practices, I was introduced to Sean – he has exceeded my expectations and I have been a regular visitor to his clinic for treatment ever since. I am delighted with the treatment, advice and expert services I have received from both Sean and David at Excel. The hands-on treatment has and continues to be invaluable to me and the reformer pilates sessions and home exercises they have given me have become a daily routine which improves my strength, balance and overall quality of life on a daily basis.
What can I say about Sean and the team at Excel, well they have patched me up more times than I care to remember. As I get older, I seem to train harder and stretch less! From cycling injuries to crossfit strains I know I’m in safe hands with the Excel team and would have no hesitation in recommending them.
I completed my first marathon this year and Sean helped me greatly in my preparation. I had Achilles’ tendon issues for several weeks and Sean’s treatment and advice were vital in getting me through the training schedule. He has great expertise, a can-do attitude and a relaxed manner. I can’t thank him enough.
